March theme — That’s How We’ve Never Done It. Week 2 — Up Until Now...

Affirmation: I release the past, and claim a higher, happier experience of life today.

It’s time to acknowledge our past (good, bad, and ugly) while disentangling ourselves from it. It’s time to forgive and release old patterns that no longer serve us. Let’s install and practice a new script: “UP UNTIL NOW…”

This week Rev. Rainbow showed us how we can reframe the stories we tell ourselves: all the old habits, narratives, and characteristics we’ve been assigning to ourselves. Put them in the past where they belong with the simple phrase: “Up until now…”

“As we have proven that Principle is not bound by precedent, we go into that realm which says: ‘Behold I make all things new,’ not carrying with us the limited belief of the reason why it cannot be.” ~ Ernest Holmes, SOM 275.2

“We all have the ability to transcend previous experiences and rise triumphant above them; but we shall never triumph over them while we persist in going through the old mental reactions.” ~ Ernest Holmes, SOM 147.4

“Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it.” ~ George Santayana, The Life of Reason, Vol. I

AHA moments from members:

  • Buddhist concept: attachment and resistance are the root of suffering.

  • Every moment is a choice. We can always consciously choose to co-create in our experience.

  • We are Divine humans. Perfectly imperfect. Wholly holy.

  • It’s not about ignoring the past. Lovingly embrace that happened to move forward.
